Lipizzaner Museum in Vienna: Horse Riding Schools and Museum in Vienna

The Lipizzaner (or Lippizaner) horses of the Spanish Riding School are synonymous with Vienna and are part of the oldest remaining riding school in the world where the disciplined elegance of classic dressage displays can still be seen. Visitors can attend morning, training sessions at the riding school. The story of the Lipizzaners is told through a variety of exhibits, displayed in the Lipizzaner Museum, which is housed in the Old Imperial Pharmacy. Antique horse tack, uniforms, photos and videos trace the history of this breed from the 16th century to the present day.
